Privacy Policy

Qurtoo (qurtoo.com) is a free prompt engineering library run by Kief Studio LLC of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. This policy says what we collect when you use the site, why, and who else touches it.

The short version

• Qurtoo is free. Every article, playbook, glossary entry and paper digest is open to everyone.
• You don't need an account, and reading the site doesn't ask you for anything.
• We don't sell your data, run ads, or use advertising or retargeting trackers.
• Our analytics use no cookies. We use our own analytics tool and Cloudflare Web Analytics.

What we collect

Our analytics. We measure how people use the site with our own analytics tool, run by Kief Studio and loaded from f.kief.dev. It records the page you're on, the site that sent you, any campaign tags in the link (utm), your country (from Cloudflare), how far you scroll, how long you stay and which part of the page you click. It counts a visit only after a real person moves the mouse, touches the screen or types. It uses no cookies. A random visit ID lives in your browser tab's session storage and is gone when you close the tab. Your IP address is never stored as is: it is turned into a short code with a secret key that changes every day, so it can't be traced back to you. It doesn't run if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare also counts page views and measures how fast pages load, with a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com. It uses no cookies. Kief Studio reads that data alongside our own analytics.

The contact form. If you write to us through the contact page, we collect the name, email address, company, topic and message you enter, plus any campaign tags in the link that brought you there. That goes into LTFI, the system Kief Studio uses to run the company, so a person on our team can read it and reply. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.

Past sign-in. Qurtoo no longer has sign-in or accounts, and sets no login cookies. If you signed in before, through Kief Studio's sign-in service at auth.ltfi.ai, we still hold the email address and display name from that sign-in. Ask us and we'll delete them.

Server and security logs. Like any website, our servers and Cloudflare see your IP address and browser details with each request. We use them to keep the site running and to block abuse, and we keep them only as long as that takes.

Past billing

Qurtoo used to sell a paid plan, Qurtoo Pro, through Stripe. It stopped on October 15, 2026, and Qurtoo takes no payments now. Card details always stayed with Stripe and never reached our servers. Where a past record exists, we keep the Stripe customer ID and the status of the old plan for accounting and legal reasons. Questions about a past charge go to [email protected].

Who else handles data

• Cloudflare runs our DNS and sits in front of the site as a proxy: it encrypts the connection, blocks attacks, and runs Cloudflare Web Analytics for page views and load speed.
• Kief Studio hosts the site, its database, the analytics and LTFI on servers it operates.
• Stripe holds the records of past Qurtoo Pro billing. No new payments go through it.

Our fonts are hosted on our own servers, so reading Qurtoo doesn't send requests to Google Fonts.

How long we keep it

Analytics are kept in aggregate to see how the site is doing over time. Contact form messages are kept while they're useful for the conversation. Details from past sign-ins are kept until you ask us to delete them. Past billing records are kept as long as accounting and tax law require. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you that we aren't required to keep.

Your choices

• Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control and our own analytics won't run for you.
• Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and we'll do it.
• Read the whole site without giving us anything.
